Recommended if you like chocolate! Not too heavy or too rich for those with a more sensitive palate and it isn't too sweet either. There is a slight salty taste which is a nice surprise to counter balance all the chocolate. Very light to eat and the cream to cake ratio is just right.
It was so hard to get a beautiful looking chocolate on chocolate cake for a birthday delivered. Enze created something that was so balanced that even non mud cake lovers enjoyed it. Birthday girl was mightily impressed and couldn't get over how light the sponge was.
Beautifully cooked, moist, light and fluffy. Something you can have all the time and not get sick of it.
This cake is really chocolatey with a rich chocolate flavour. I think it would be even better with more chocolate pieces inside and outside.
