Very cute presentation but quite high cream to sponge ratio compared to the full cake. Taste wise, it’s a lovely cake, not too seeet and the chestnut pieces in the middle give an interesting texture. Personally I feel that the earl grey flavour is very faint and can be stronger but that’s just personal preference. Still an enjoyable cake overall.

The real chestnut inside the cake. Make it tastes crunchy. Chestnut cream on top Not too sweet. More cake than cream maybe better. Best chestnut cake.
I like the bento size which is perfect for 1-2 persons to share for tea. We order 3 different bentos to share between 7 of us - Taro, Chestnut & Mandarin. Personally I like the Chestnut one most and its perfect with earl grey favour.
Really great tasting cake. The flavours are subtle, and the cake sponge is very soft yet firm. I personally prefer to nuts to be smaller but that’s a personal preference. Birthday girl loved everything about this cake!
